Dvorak
The QWERTY design of today's standard keyboard is a relic of the pre-computer age. The QWERTY design was implemented in the 1870s as part of the first successful manual typewriter.
August Dvorak invented the "Dvorak" layout in 1932 as a result of exhaustive time and motion studies. Benefits of the Dvorak layout include:
